Everyone has probably heard about the new Presidential administration adding 87,000 IRS agents to check to make sure we are paying our taxes. The IRS put out job-seeking queries asking if potential IRS agents had the intestinal fortitude to use deadly force on the job. Why the IRS needs to use deadly force I don’t know. Do you have a good reason why a clerical agency should have millions of rounds for ammunition and employees who are ready to kill?
Instead of the IRS adding 87,000 murderous tax agents why do we not have 87,000 Government Accountability Agents. They don’t need to be armed. They do need to investigate and keep track of our politicians. Our government agencies seem to have a ton of resources paid for with tax money to see what the peasants are doing but there’s virtually nothing to see what our politicians are doing. There is absolutely no recourse for politicians who are caught in wrongdoing.
There is a news article about how Nancy Pelosi has a better stock market trading record than Warren Buffett. Warren Buffett for god sake. How does an elected official go from a couple hundred thousand dollar salary to worth hundreds of millions of dollars? How does an elected official have the time to be better at trading the stock market than Warren Buffett who has spent his entire life specializing in the Stock. Market?
We do need more government oversight but from the other end of the microscope.
